History
Hampton Roads Teleport has been providing quality
satellite transmission and broadcast media services since it was
founded in 1977. Whether hosting a cable network or providing studio
and uplink services to Fox News, CNN and other companies, HRTP prides
itself on friendly, professional services in the media marketplace.

HRTP
is located in the resort city of Virginia Beach, Virginia, midway
between Washington, D.C. and Raleigh, NC. We are less than 15 minutes
from downtown Norfolk, VA and 20 minutes from the oceanfront. We are
the closest full-service teleport to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. |

We have full-time fiber connections to and from our Washington,
D.C. offices. If you need a D.C. interview, some news footage or simply
a "back door" out of the over-crowded Washington video grid, HRTP can
provide a quick and inexpensive solution.
